Sol Search

Conceive, Believe, Achieve

No Fear, No Fate, No Defeat

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
 To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
 Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
 Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

The path less traveled

Still remembering all
those people that have
come and gone in our
lives...may we never
forget what makes us
who we are
...

I am dedicating this journal
to my Father - for whom
without which I would have
never received the nomadic
gene that has taken me into
the corners of the world and
into the wonders of mankind.

Welcome to our website chronicling
our travels.  I apologize for the
problems viewing some prior
adventures as my program is not
playing well with much of the new
browsers.  This website likes internet Explorer so you may have a better viewing with that
browser.

AUSTRALIA!   Just another week in Western Australia - Does WA never end?  As much as I hope not, we are plodding eastward along the Kimberly and she's magnificant!

OUT of the night that covers me
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
 For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
 Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Never mind Gerson, think of who is
taking the picture and from where.

From this hour
I ordain myself loos’d of limits and imaginary lines,
Going where I list, my own master total and absolute,
Listening to others, considering well what they say,
Pausing, searching, receiving, contemplating,
Gently, but with undeniable will,
divesting myself of the
Holds that would hold me.
I inhale great draughts of space,
The east and the west are mine,
and the north and the south are mine.
I am larger, better than I thought,
I did not know I held so much goodness.
All seems beautiful to me.
I can repeat over to men and women
You have done such good to me
I would do the same to you,
I will recruit for myself and you as I go,
I will scatter myself among men and women as I go,
I will toss a new gladness and roughness among them.
Whoever denies me it shall not trouble me,
Whoever accepts me he or she shall be
blessed and shall bless me.
Now I see the secret of the making of
the best persons,
It is to grow in the open air and to eat and
sleep with the earth.
